And it goes like...

My first book, which I mentioned in my first post is coming along steadily and here are my cover ideas;

Self-made I think they turned out alright. Special thanks to my best friend for posing for me and putting up with my bossy-ness in the process.

"And It Goes Like..." is my first novel and I hope it actually comes out before my others, but we'll see.
It is about a girl, Lil Patterson 17 yrs. old, loses the love of her life and can't quite figure out how to get over it. But this isn't your usual teenage-drama-filled breakup, no. Alex-her ex-died after living in a coma for a week after a brutal car accident. She tries and tries to find a new light but it's not coming to her. Her best friends are as fake as ever, her family is as distant as can be and above all she feels lost and alone no matter what.
A new kid, Kade 17 yrs. old, enters Lil's life and shows her a sliver of light. But quickly that light dims by the secrets Lil is learning.
See where Lil goes in "And It Goes Like..."

I don't know for sure when this one will be scheduled for release but check in when you can for more information and details. Oh and one more thing: If you're interested comment on which cover you like best, it would mean the world to me if you did!!

*My books aren't series-maybe in the future I'll go there.

New!

I'd like to call myself ambitious but I don't even think I am.
I'm always getting into new stuff but I don't know...they never seem real or significant.

What I'm getting at here is that my next [and current] project is: writing! Crazy weird because only as of recent have I been getting into the whole behind the scenes thing. I mean I love books, but I never said, "Hey I think I'll write a book." No that didn't happen.

But lately I've been having free time so what I did was write. And I mean write: the pencil, paper, all of it. And when I write I just can't stop so I've made pages in a 45 minute period. Oh and I'm left-handed so I get lead all over my hand because I haven't broken the nasty habit of lifting my hand up when I  write.

So what I've done with these free time pages is I've started to put them into a book, or multiple books. I have three different novels started already.
And the great thing about these novels is each one is totally different. Yeah sure I have the same background things like love interests and conflict but each one is a completely different scenario.

My first book [which I'm still working on] is pretty basic. A teenage girl struck by tragedy and faced with regular teenage issues, falls in love....fill in the blanks, right?
Then I started another one, which by the way is still about a girl struck by tragedy, was so much more powerful and meaningful that it made it harder for me to go back to book number one. But I still do because a wannabe author like me needs more than one book on the market.
I mean say I get famous [doubtful] I can't have one book.
My third book is really still up in the air the concept is very bendable so I haven't decided the exact direction for it. But I can tell you that it has a teenage girl again...

I don't know how well my new adventure will work out but I'm getting really serious with it so who knows?

Check back soon for updates!
